THE THREE MEMBER CLASSES
The lifeblood of the cooperative—people and entities who use our services. Whether you’re a rural municipality, oilfield operator, or housing developer in a low-income zone, you gain access to cost-saving energy infrastructure—and a vote in how the cooperative grows.
1. PATRON MEMBERS
Early contributors and partners, including Opportunity Zone businesses and Qualified Opportunity Funds (QOFs). These members shaped the initial vision and benefit from the cooperative’s alignment with federal impact programs.
2. FOUNDING MEMBERS
Mission-driven capital providers who invest in the cooperative’s projects without seeking control. Investor Members help us finance installations while respecting our tax-exempt and patron-first structure.
3. INVESTOR MEMBERS
WHY IT WORKS
Unlike traditional models, we align incentives:
• Patron users get benefits and earnings allocations
• Investors get reliable infrastructure exposure
• Founders help direct cooperative impact
